The ADS Houston Scholarship Program is designed to provide supplemental funds to facilitate the
pursuit of university undergraduate and/or graduate degrees from US accredited institutions. Each
school year, the ADS Houston Chapter will award scholarships in accordance with the
Scholarship Trust Document.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates shall be:
A "Regular Member” of the ADS Houston Chapter in "Good Standing” (as defined in the ADS Bylaws) at the time of application.
Attending or planning to attend an educational institution:
On a full time basis during the entire award year, OR
On a part time basis and is full time employed (40 hours per week) for the entire award year.
A graduating high school senior shall have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher..
A university undergraduate student shall have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and in good academic standing (i.e. not on academic probation).
A university graduate student shall have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and in good academic standing (i.e. not on academic probation).
The maximum number of scholarships that can be awarded to any individual:
Four scholarships for undergraduate studies.
Two scholarships for graduate studies.
The process is simple:
Read the "Instructions to Applicants (Form A2)” for additional clarifications.
Fill out the application (Form A1) completely and provide supporting documentation for each item that is requested. .
Your application and all supporting documents must be E-Mailed no later than June 30, 2024 of the current year. Any applications post-marked after June 30, 2024 will not be accepted and will remain un-opened.
